This homemade Vanilla Cinnamon Milk Tea is a perfect blend of aromatic vanilla and warm cinnamon with your choice of milk. It’s a comforting recipe that can be enjoyed hot or iced.
Ingredients

- 1 cup Water
- 1/2 cup Milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1 Cinnamon stick (or 1/2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon)
- 1 Vanilla bean, split and scraped (or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract)
- 1 Black tea bag or 1 tsp loose-leaf black tea (optional)
- 1 tsp Sugar, honey, or other sweetener of choice
- 1 Star anise (optional)
Instructions
- In a small pot, bring 1 cup of water to a low boil.
- Add a cinnamon stick and vanilla bean in the pot, turn the heat to low, and cover with a lid.
- Let the ingredients steep in simmering hot water for about 10 minutes.
- Strain the vanilla cinnamon infusion into a cup and add a black tea bag. Brew for 3-5 minutes. You can also stir in your preferred sweetener.
- In a separate container, gently heat the milk until it is warm but not boiling. You can also froth it. Then pour the hot milk into the cup.
- Sprinkle some ground cinnamon on top or add a cinnamon stick or star anise as garnish. Enjoy!
