Description
Quick and easy two-ingredient pizza dough that takes just 15 minutes to prepare.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1–1/4 cups self-rising flour, plus more for dusting
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 500°F. In a large bowl, combine the self-rising flour and Greek yogurt until they come together to form a shaggy dough ball.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it for 8 to 10 minutes or until it’s soft and elastic. Add more flour as needed to prevent the dough from sticking. Use your fingers to press the dough into a 12-inch circle, then carefully transfer it to a lightly greased pizza pan or baking sheet.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and cook it, stirring frequently, until it’s fragrant, about 30 to 60 seconds. Brush the garlic butter onto the pizza dough, starting with the edges then covering the entire pizza.
- Spread the pizza sauce in an even layer. Sprinkle it with mozzarella cheese and any other toppings, as desired.
- Bake the pizza for 10 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted. Let the pizza cool, then slice it.
Notes
- Adjust toppings based on your preference.
- Use more flour if the dough is sticky.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
