  • 1½ cups pecans, roughly chopped & toasted
  • Extra caramel for drizzling
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup whole milk
  • 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3½ cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch pan
  3. Poke holes all over the cake using a wooden spoon handle
  4. Slowly pour 1 cup warm caramel sauce over the entire surface
  5. Sprinkle 1 cup chopped pecans, gently pressing them in
  6. Immediately pour hot fudge frosting over the warm cake
  7. Sprinkle remaining toasted pecans on top
  8. Drizzle generously with extra caramel sauce
  9. Let frosting set slightly, then slice thick and serve warm
