- 12 oz egg noodles
- 2 cans tuna, drained
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups frozen peas
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the egg noodles until just al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3 to 4 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add the cream of mushroom soup and milk, stirring until smooth.
- Season the sauce with salt and black pepper.
- Fold in the drained tuna and frozen peas, stirring gently to combine.
- Add the cooked egg noodles and mix until everything is evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- Sprinkle the cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until hot and bubbly and the cheese is melted.
- Garnish with chopped parsley, let rest for 5 minutes, and serve warm.
