- Spread 1½ teaspoons of mayonnaise on one side of each toast slice.
- Layer the tomato slices generously on one bread half, ensuring even distribution.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper to enhance the tomato’s natural sweetness.
- Place the second bread slice on top to complete the sandwich.
