Easy Sourdough Freezer Garlic Texas Toast Recipe with buttery garlic flavor.

- 8–10 slices thick cut sourdough bread
- 1 cup salted butter, softened
- 1 tbsp dried parsley
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
- Pinch salt
- 1/4 shredded cheese per slice just before cooking (optional)
Instructions
- Take 8 to 10 thick slices of sourdough bread. Fresh or frozen both work. Crusts can be left on or removed based on preference.
- In a small bowl, mix together softened butter, minced garlic, dried parsley, pinch of salt and grated parmesan cheese, until fully combined.
- Spread the garlic butter evenly over one side of each slice of bread.
- Place the slices buttered side up on a baking sheet. Transfer to the freezer and freeze for 1 hour, or until solid.
- Transfer the frozen slices into a labeled freezer bag. Store flat in the freezer.
- Remove as many slices as needed straight from the freezer. Add cheese just before cooking if using. Cooking times are: Air Fryer: cook at 360°F for 6 to 7 minutes; Oven: bake at 350°F for 9 to 11 minutes. Serve warm.
