- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Beat butter and cream cheese together until smooth and creamy.
- Add granulated sugar and brown sugar, mixing until light and fluffy.
- Mix in egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.
- Chill the dough for 30–60 minutes for thicker cookies.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheets, spacing evenly.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden and centers are soft.
- Let cookies cool before serving.
