Description

This Sheet Pan Chicken Parm delivers comfort and flavor, perfect for busy nights.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts (67 oz.)
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • 1 cup Marinara sauce (add more for serving)
  • 8 slices Fresh mozzarella (¼ inch thick)
  • ½ cup Plain breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup Grated Parmesan cheese (add more for serving)
  • as needed Hot cooked spaghetti (for serving)
  • as needed Additional marinara (for drizzling and dipping)
  • as needed Additional Parmesan cheese (for sprinkling on top)
  • as needed Fresh basil (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Pound the chicken breasts to about ½ inch thickness.
  3. Season the chicken breasts lightly on both sides with salt and black pepper.
  4. Spread ¼ cup of marinara sauce on top of each chicken breast.
  5. Bake the chicken at 400°F for 20 minutes.
  6. Combine breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese in a small bowl.
  7. Add 2 slices of fresh mozzarella to the top of each chicken breast after removing from the oven.
  8. Switch the oven to high broil and place the pan in the oven for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Sprinkle the breadcrumb and Parmesan mixture over the chicken breasts and broil for another 2-3 minutes.
  10. Serve the chicken Parm over hot cooked spaghetti with extra marinara, Parmesan, and fresh basil.
