This Sheet Pan Chicken Parm delivers comfort and flavor, perfect for busy nights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts (6–7 oz.)
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper
- 1 cup Marinara sauce (add more for serving)
- 8 slices Fresh mozzarella (¼ inch thick)
- ½ cup Plain breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup Grated Parmesan cheese (add more for serving)
- as needed Hot cooked spaghetti (for serving)
- as needed Additional marinara (for drizzling and dipping)
- as needed Additional Parmesan cheese (for sprinkling on top)
- as needed Fresh basil (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Pound the chicken breasts to about ½ inch thickness.
- Season the chicken breasts lightly on both sides with salt and black pepper.
- Spread ¼ cup of marinara sauce on top of each chicken breast.
- Bake the chicken at 400°F for 20 minutes.
- Combine breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese in a small bowl.
- Add 2 slices of fresh mozzarella to the top of each chicken breast after removing from the oven.
- Switch the oven to high broil and place the pan in the oven for 2-3 minutes.
- Sprinkle the breadcrumb and Parmesan mixture over the chicken breasts and broil for another 2-3 minutes.
- Serve the chicken Parm over hot cooked spaghetti with extra marinara, Parmesan, and fresh basil.
