- 1 tablespoon Red Gel Food Coloring (Avoid liquid coloring)
- 1/2 cup White Chocolate Chips (Optional)
- 8 oz Cream Cheese (Can use vegan cream cheese)
- 2 cups Powdered Sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the unsalted butter in a medium bowl, then combine it with granulated sugar and light brown sugar until it’s smooth and creamy.
- Whisk in the eggs and egg yolk along with the vanilla extract.
- Stir in the vegetable oil and cocoa powder until fully combined.
- Fold in a portion of red gel food coloring into the batter.
- Combine the dry ingredients: gently fold in the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt, and vinegar.
- Pour the batter into your prepared pan, using a spatula to spread it evenly. Bake for 20–25 minutes.
- Cool the brownies completely in the pan before frosting.
- Beat the cream cheese and unsalted butter together in a bowl until it’s fluffy.
- Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until smooth.
- Spread the frosting over the cooled brownies and slice them into squares.
