- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 1 cup diced bell peppers
- 1 cup diced onions
- 8 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup diced pepperoni
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add the diced bell peppers and onions to the skillet and sauté until softened.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer the sausage mixture, pizza sauce, pepperoni, and mozzarella cheese.
- Pour the egg mixture over the top and gently stir to combine.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
