Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup diced pepperoni
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the diced bell peppers and onions to the skillet and sauté until softened.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer the sausage mixture, pizza sauce, pepperoni, and mozzarella cheese.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the top and gently stir to combine.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
