- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup crushed Oreos (for coating)
- ¼ cup cocoa powder or sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Crush the Oreos in a food processor or zip-top bag until finely crushed.
- Combine crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.
- Scoop out 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball; repeat with remaining mixture.
- Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes until firm.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
- Roll the chocolate-coated truffle in crushed Oreos, cocoa powder, or sprinkles while wet.
- Place coated truffles back on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
- Serve at room temperature or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
