- 2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a bundt pan well.
- Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces.
- In a large bowl or zip-top bag, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
- Toss the biscuit pieces in the cinnamon sugar until fully coated.
- Arrange the coated pieces evenly in the prepared bundt pan.
- In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter and brown sugar.
- Pour the butter mixture evenly over the biscuit pieces.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let the monkey bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
- Invert it carefully onto a serving plate.
- Whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
- Drizzle the vanilla glaze over the warm monkey bread and serve.
