Buttery, gooey, nutty, and delightfully nostalgic mini pecan tarts that are perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2–4 tbsp ice water
- 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup golden syrup
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup pecan halves
Instructions
- Mix flour and salt in a bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly. Add water gradually until dough forms. Shape into disk, wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out dough and cut circles to fit mini tart pans. Press into pans and chill for 15 minutes more.
- Whisk brown sugar, syrup, eggs, butter, and vanilla until smooth. Place pecans in each crust, pour in filling, and top with more pecans.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until set and golden. Cool before removing from pans.
