  • Chopped chives or parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add finely sliced onions and cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring often until they are golden brown and caramelized.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Use a hand mixer until everything is smooth and well-blended.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix in caramelized onions and half of the shredded smoked Gouda.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the dip mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle the remaining smoked Gouda on top.
