- 1 medium tomato (Optional, sliced.)
- remaining leftover marinade (Ensure it reaches a safe temperature.)
Instructions
- Slice each boneless, skinless chicken breast in half lengthwise to create two thin cutlets. Pat dry.
- Marinate chicken cutlets in honey Dijon mustard for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- Cook the leftover marinade in a saucepan over medium heat until boiling, then simmer for 5 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium heat, around 400°F (200°C).
- Grill chicken cutlets for about 8 minutes, flipping halfway, until reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Assemble the sandwich with grilled chicken, Swiss cheese, and bacon. Drizzle with thickened marinade.
- Add fresh lettuce and tomato, close the sandwich, and enjoy!
- Serve warm, optionally with sweet potato fries or a light salad.
