  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, honey, garlic, thyme, oregano, and cayenne pepper (if using). Mix well until fully incorporated.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  4. In a large, oven-safe skillet or baking dish, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  5. Spoon the honey butter mixture over the seared chicken, making sure to coat the tops and sides evenly.
  6. Transfer the skillet or baking dish to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
