Description

This refreshing Hazelnut Plum Garden Milk combines the creamy texture of hazelnuts with the sweetness of fresh plums, making it a delightful drink. Perfect for a nutritious snack or a refreshing beverage.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup hazelnuts (soaked overnight)
  • 2 cups water for blending
  • 1 cup fresh plums (pitted and chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • a pinch salt
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse the soaked hazelnuts and place them in a blender with 2 cups of fresh water.
  2. Blend on high speed for about 1-2 minutes until smooth and creamy.
  3. Strain the hazelnut milk into a bowl or pitcher, discarding the pulp.
  4. In the same blender, add the strained hazelnut milk, chopped plums, maple syrup, vanilla extract, salt, and cinnamon if using.
  5. Blend again until smooth.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more maple syrup if necessary.
  7. If using chia seeds, stir them in and let the milk sit for 10-15 minutes to thicken.
  8. Pour the Hazelnut Plum Garden Milk into glasses and enjoy chilled or over ice.
