- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 bell pepper (diced)
- 14.5 oz diced tomatoes (undrained)
- 8 oz tomato sauce
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup elbow macaroni (uncooked)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley (chopped for garnish)
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat until fully cooked.
- Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
- Stir in diced bell pepper and cook for another 2-3 minutes until softened.
- Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to a simmer and stir in uncooked elbow macaroni; cover and cook for 10-12 minutes until pasta is tender.
- If desired, stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
- Adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
