Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Beat together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and airy (2-3 minutes).
- Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Fold dry ingredients gently into the wet mixture, adding milk gradually until dough is soft but not sticky.
- Gently fold in the chopped Milky Way pieces and milk chocolate chips.
- Chill the dough for at least 20–30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Scoop portions of dough onto a parchment-lined baking tray, spacing them 2 inches apart. Bake for 9–12 minutes.
- Cool the cookies on the tray for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
