- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped cooked bacon
- 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 package puff pastry
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, chopped bacon, chives, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
- Lightly flour a surface and roll out the puff pastry to about 1/8 inch thickness.
- Cut the puff pastry into 3×3 inch squares.
- Spoon about a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture onto the center of each puff pastry square.
- Fold the puff pastry over the filling diagonally to create triangles.
- Press the edges firmly with a fork to seal them.
- Place the filled puff pastry triangles onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For best results, thaw puff pastry in the refrigerator overnight.
- Seal the edges of the puff pastry well to prevent filling from leaking.
- Resist the urge to eat them piping hot; allow a few minutes for the cheese to set.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days and reheated in a toaster oven.
