- 3 tablespoons Butter (For grilling the bread)
- 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt (Adjust according to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon White Pepper (Can substitute with black pepper or omit)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk the beaten eggs with kosher salt and white pepper until fully combined.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat until foamy.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread with the remaining tablespoon of butter; set aside.
- Pour the egg mixture into the skillet, swirling to cover the pan evenly. Cook undisturbed for about 3-4 minutes.
- Place both slices of bread, buttered sides up, on top of the setting eggs and cook until fully set.
- Flip the sandwich carefully, then layer one slice with cheddar cheese and ham.
- Complete the sandwich by folding over the other slice, cooking until the cheese melts and both sides are golden.
- Serve warm, cutting the sandwich in half if desired.
