Homemade Japanese Dorayakis
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 egg
- 40 g of sugar
- 1 tsp of honey
- 25 g of water
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
- 50 g of wheat flour
- 1/4 tsp of baking powder
- Your favorite filling (chocolate cream, anko, pistachio cream, etc.)
Instructions
- Add to a bowl: 1 egg, 40 g of sugar, 1 tsp of honey, 25 g of water, and 1 tbsp of oil. Mix until all ingredients are combined.
- Add 50 g of flour and 1/4 tsp of baking powder, then mix again until smooth.
- Let the batter rest for 30 minutes.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium-low heat and lightly grease it.
- Cook the pancakes one by one: – Add 2 tbsp of batter to the pan (circle of about 8 cm) – Cook one side until bubbles appear on the surface – Flip and cook for another 30 seconds – Repeat until all the batter is used.
- Fill one pancake with your preferred filling (leaving space at the edges) and close it with another pancake, pressing the edges.
- Serve at room temperature or chilled from the fridge. Done!
