Description

Creamy Dijon Chicken is a rich, flavorful, and easy weeknight dinner made with tender chicken simmered in a silky Dijon mustard cream sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill or 1 tablespoon fresh dill
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken until golden on both sides, then remove temporarily.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up browned bits from the pan. Stir in heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and dill until smooth.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for 8–12 minutes until fully cooked and the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Spoon extra sauce over the chicken and serve warm.
