- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a shallow dish, mix the flour, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt until well blended.
- Pour the buttermilk into another shallow dish.
- Dip each slice of thick-cut bacon into the buttermilk, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Dredge the buttermilk-coated bacon in the seasoned flour mixture, pressing gently to ensure the flour adheres.
- In a large skillet, pour in enough vegetable oil to cover about 1/4 inch of the bottom and heat over medium heat until the oil is hot.
- Carefully place the coated bacon slices in the hot oil in batches, frying for about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Transfer the fried bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to absorb any excess oil.
