- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour and baking soda until well combined.
- In another bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter-sugar blend and mix until a soft dough forms.
- On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Evenly spread the chocolate chip cookie dough over the rolled-out dough.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon over the cookie dough.
- Gently roll the dough from one edge to the other, creating a tight log.
- Slice the log into about 8-10 even pieces and place them in a baking dish.
- Let the rolls rise for about 20 minutes and then bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and milk until smooth; drizzle over warm rolls.
