Easy Chinese Dumplings Recipe
Ingredients

- 300g of minced meat
- 1 carrot
- 170g of cabbage
- 1 clove of garlic
- 10g of ginger
- 60mL of soy sauce
- Olive oil
- 300g of wheat flour
- 160mL of water
- 1/2 tsp of salt
Instructions
- Chop the carrot and cabbage.
- In a bowl, mix the meat with the vegetables, salt, and soy sauce.
- Mix the flour, water, and salt.
- Knead for 3-4 minutes.
- Adjust with water or flour until the dough does not stick to your fingers.
- Flour the work surface well.
- Roll the dough into a ‘sausage’ shape (about 3cm in diameter).
- Cut the ‘sausage’ into pieces about 1/2 cm thick.
- Flour all pieces and roll out the dough with a rolling pin.
- Heat a non-stick pan and add a splash of oil.
- Add the dumplings.
- Add water until it covers half of the dumplings.
- Cover and let boil (over medium/high heat).
- When there is little cooking water left, remove the lid and add another splash of oil.
- Lower the heat slightly and wait for them to brown.
Notes
- Adjust the filling ingredients to your taste.
- Serve with a dipping sauce of your choice.
