Description

Fluffy homemade Chinese baozi filled with meat. Delicious!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 500g flour
  • 280mL warm water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon yeast
  • 400g minced pork
  • 60mL soy sauce
  • 50mL oyster sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • Ginger
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the baozi dough. Mix all dough ingredients and knead until smooth. Let it rise for about 1 hour.
  2. Mix all filling ingredients for the baozi and set aside in a bowl.
  3. Divide the bao dough into 12 pieces and carefully shape each baozi. Check the video for detailed assembly instructions.
  4. Cook the baozi in a steamer or on a griddle, as you prefer. Enjoy the recipe!
