Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then mix in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until a soft dough forms.
- Divide the dough evenly into two bowls. Tint one bowl red and the other green, mixing until the color is fully blended.
- Cover and chill the dough for 1 to 2 hours until firm enough to scoop.
