Decadent Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies That Wow Every Bite

- 1.5 cups Creamy all natural peanut butter
- ⅔ cup Powdered sugar
- ½ cup Melted butter
- 1.25 cups Chocolate chips (semi-sweet preferred)
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 2 whole Eggs
- 3 tablespoons Cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- ¼ cup All purpose or gluten-free flour
- ⅓ cup Creamy all natural peanut butter (for swirling on top)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line an 8-inch by 8-inch square pan with parchment paper.
- Combine 1½ cups of creamy natural peanut butter and ⅔ cup of powdered sugar in a mixing bowl. Stir until well blended, then set aside.
- Melt ½ cup of melted butter and 1¼ cups of chocolate chips in a separate bowl, stirring until completely melted.
- Whisk together 1 cup of granulated sugar and 2 eggs in a clean mixing bowl for about 2 minutes until light and frothy.
- Combine the melted chocolate mixture with the egg and sugar blend, stirring until well mixed.
- Add in 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and ¼ cup of flour. Mix gently until fully incorporated.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
- Spoon dollops of the peanut butter filling over the brownie base and spread it into an even layer.
- Layer the remaining brownie batter on top by gently pouring it over the peanut butter filling.
- Swirl the top with ⅓ cup of creamy peanut butter using a knife or toothpick.
- Bake in the oven for 28 to 30 minutes until the center looks set.
- Cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
