Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound Beef Sirloin (thinly sliced)
- 2 cups Broccoli Florets (fresh or frozen)
- 8 ounces Noodles (Egg or Rice)
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce (low-sodium recommended)
- 2 tablespoons Oyster Sauce (or hoisin sauce for vegetarian)
- 1 tablespoon Ginger (minced fresh)
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
- 1 tablespoon Cornstarch (dissolved in water)
- 2 tablespoons Green Onions (sliced)
- 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds (toasted for richness)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, minced ginger, minced garlic, and a splash of sesame oil. Set aside, allowing the flavors to meld together.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add your choice of noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually around 3-5 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Swirl it around to coat the surface, ensuring even cooking.
- Add thinly sliced beef sirloin to the pan, stirring continuously for about 2-3 minutes until browned and just cooked through.
- Toss in the broccoli florets and stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes, allowing them to become bright green and slightly tender.
- Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli while adding the cooked noodles. Stir everything together, ensuring the noodles are well coated and heated through—about 1-2 minutes.
- Garnish your dish with optional green onions and sesame seeds for an added pop of flavor and texture. Serve hot and enjoy!
