- 3 cups white chocolate chips
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 12 ounces white chocolate melting wafers
- 1/3 cup crushed candy canes
Instructions
- Line a tray or small baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt 3 cups white chocolate chips with the sweetened condensed milk and butter, stirring until smooth.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract, peppermint extract, and salt.
- Add the powdered sugar gradually and stir until a thick fudge mixture forms.
- Cover and chill the mixture for 1 to 2 hours, until firm enough to scoop.
- Scoop and roll the mixture into 1 inch balls, then place them on the prepared tray.
- Chill the rolled balls for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Melt the white chocolate melting wafers until smooth.
- Dip each fudge ball into the melted white chocolate and place it back on the tray.
- Sprinkle crushed candy canes over the tops before the coating sets.
- Chill or let sit until the coating is firm, then serve.
