- ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- ½ cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat until golden brown.
- In a large bowl, combine the brown sugar and browned butter, then whisk in the eggs and vanilla extract.
- Stir in the mashed bananas until fully incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring gently.
- Fold in the optional chopped nuts and chocolate chips if desired.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
