Easy Bread Machine Nutella Filled Sweet Brioche Rolls Recipe


Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 2 1/4 tsp bread machine yeast (active dry yeast)
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tbsp salted butter (cold and cubed)
  • 4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 12 tbsp Nutella chocolate hazelnut spread (1 tbsp per roll)
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 23 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Remove the pan insert from your bread machine. Mix the warm water and condensed milk, pour into the pan, add sugar and yeast, stir, cover, and leave 5 to 10 minutes until frothy. If not, start again.
  2. Add the eggs and cubed butter. Add the flour on top without mixing. Make a small well, add the salt, and lightly cover it.
  3. Place the pan back into the bread machine, select the dough cycle, and press start. This usually takes around 1 hour 30 minutes.
  4. Once finished, tip the dough onto a lightly floured surface and divide into 12 equal pieces.
  5. Roll each piece to about 1/4 inch thick, add 1 tbsp Nutella to the center, then pull the edges over and pinch tightly to seal.
  6. Place seam side down on a parchment lined baking sheet, cover, and let rise for 1 hour until puffy.
  7. Make an egg wash by beating together an egg and 2-3 tbsp water. Brush the egg wash lightly across the tops of the rolls. Then bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 15 minutes until golden. Transfer the baked rolls to a cooling rack and enjoy warm or cooled.
