Description

This dish features tender flank steak and vibrant broccoli stir-fried in a savory sauce, served over rice. It’s a quick and delicious meal perfect for any night.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound flank steak (thinly sliced)
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • cooked rice (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the sliced flank steak, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the broccoli florets to the skillet, stir-frying for about 4-5 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the skillet, mixing it with the broccoli. Stir-fry together for another 2 minutes to heat through.
  6. Serve the beef and broccoli mixture over cooked rice.
