- 16 ounces spaghetti noodles
- 10 ounces medium shrimp, thawed, peeled, and deveined
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
- ¾ cup mayonnaise
- ¾ cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 teaspoons sriracha (optional)
- Sliced green onions
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti noodles and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set aside.
- While the pasta cooks, in a small bowl whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, lime juice, and optional sriracha until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl, add the thawed shrimp. Toss with minced garlic, paprika, kosher salt, dried parsley, and black pepper until the shrimp are evenly coated with the seasoning.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet.
- Cook the shrimp for about 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are opaque and pink throughout and cooked through. Remove the skillet from the heat.
- Place the hot cooked pasta into a large serving bowl. Pour the prepared mayo sauce over the pasta and toss well to evenly coat all the noodles.
- Top the sauced pasta with the cooked shrimp, distributing them evenly.
- Sprinkle sliced green onions or fresh chopped parsley over the top to add a fresh, vibrant finish.
