Description

This Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta recipe combines tender shrimp cooked in a flavorful blend of garlic, paprika, and spices, tossed with spaghetti and a creamy, spicy sweet chili mayo sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 ounces spaghetti noodles
  • 10 ounces medium shrimp, thawed, peeled, and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • ¾ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons sriracha (optional)
  • Sliced green onions

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti noodles and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set aside.
  2. While the pasta cooks, in a small bowl whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, lime juice, and optional sriracha until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl, add the thawed shrimp. Toss with minced garlic, paprika, kosher salt, dried parsley, and black pepper until the shrimp are evenly coated with the seasoning.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet.
  5. Cook the shrimp for about 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are opaque and pink throughout and cooked through. Remove the skillet from the heat.
  6. Place the hot cooked pasta into a large serving bowl. Pour the prepared mayo sauce over the pasta and toss well to evenly coat all the noodles.
  7. Top the sauced pasta with the cooked shrimp, distributing them evenly.
  8. Sprinkle sliced green onions or fresh chopped parsley over the top to add a fresh, vibrant finish.
  9. Serve the Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta warm and enjoy the perfectly balanced blend of creamy, spicy, and savory flavors.
