Description
A vibrant and refreshing fruit salad featuring oranges, pomegranate seeds, apples, kiwis, and grapes, drizzled with a light honey-lemon dressing.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 pieces fresh oranges, peeled and diced
- 1 cup pomegranate seeds
- 2 pieces apples (1 sweet, 1 tart), chopped
- 2 pieces kiwis, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup seedless grapes, halved
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons honey (Can be substituted with maple syrup or agave for a vegan option.)
Instructions
- Wash all the fruits thoroughly. Peel the oranges and kiwis, then cut them into bite-sized pieces. Chop the apples into cubes, keeping the skin on for added color and nutrients.
- In a large mixing bowl, gently toss together the diced oranges, pomegranate seeds, chopped apples, sliced kiwis, and halved grapes.
- In a small bowl, whisk together fresh lemon juice and honey until well combined. Adjust sweetness to taste.
- Drizzle the honey-lemon dressing over the mixed fruit and gently fold until everything is nicely coated.
- Let the salad chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld together.
- Transfer the salad to a serving bowl or individual cups. Garnish as desired and serve chilled.
- Feel free to add nuts like walnuts or pecans, shredded coconut, or a sprinkle of cinnamon for extra flavor.
Notes
- This salad is best served chilled.
