- 2 slices Sourdough Bread
- 1 cup Blue Crab Meat
- 1 jalapeño Diced Jalapeños
- 4 oz Cream Cheese
- 2 tbsp Chili Crunch
- 1 tbsp Kewpie Mayo
- 2 tbsp Scallions
- 1 tbsp Gochujang
- 1 tbsp Sweet Chili Sauce
- 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp Butter
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the blue crab meat, diced jalapeños, cream cheese, chili crunch, kewpie mayo, gochujang, chopped scallions, and sweet chili sauce. Blend until fully mixed and creamy.
- Spread the crab filling generously on one slice of sourdough bread. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the filling, then add a layer of panko breadcrumbs. Top with another slice of bread.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add a pat of butter, melt it, and coat the pan. Cook the assembled sandwich for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Once toasted, remove from skillet and let rest for a minute. Slice in half before serving, and enjoy with pickled vegetables or a fresh salad.
