Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Start by setting your oven to 250°F (120°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Combine Ingredients: In a medium saucepan, mix together the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and honey over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the mixture reaches a rolling boil.
- Boil the Toffee: Let the mixture boil without stirring for exactly one minute. Remove it from heat, then quickly add in the vanilla extract and baking soda.
- Coat the Pretzels: Pour the toffee over the mini pretzels, making sure every piece gets a good coating. Gently toss the pretzels to mix.
- Bake to Perfection: Spread the coated pretzels onto the prepared baking sheets and bake for 45 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes.
- Finish & Cool: Once your pretzels look golden, remove them from the oven and sprinkle with coarse sea salt. Allow them to cool completely before breaking them apart.
