Ingredients
- 1 block sharp cheddar cheese, sliced into hearty chunks
- 1 wheel brie cheese, cut into wedges
- 1 block smoked gouda cheese, thin slices
- 1 box assorted crackers (buttery rounds, seeded crisps, rosemary crackers)
- 1 cup red grapes, on the vine
- 1/2 cup roasted almonds or pecans
- 2 tbsp honey or fig jam for drizzling
- Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
Instructions
- Take cheeses out of the refrigerator about 30 minutes before assembling to allow them to reach room temperature.
- Arrange the brie wedges, cheddar slices, and gouda slices on your largest serving platter or rustic wooden board, leaving space between each type of cheese.
- Tuck handfuls of assorted crackers around the cheeses, mixing shapes and colors.
- Fill any empty spots with grape clusters and sprinkle nuts (almonds or pecans) in remaining spaces.
- Drizzle honey or fig jam over the brie wedges.
- Tuck fresh rosemary sprigs around the grapes and cheeses for garnish.
- Serve immediately or cover loosely with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
- For variety, swap grapes for sliced apples or fresh figs.
- Add prosciutto or salami for a savory touch.
- Use gluten-free crackers for a gluten-free option.
- Candied pecans can add a sweet holiday flavor.
- Cheeses taste best at room temperature.
- Cover loosely with plastic wrap if prepping ahead.
- Wait to add the honey drizzle until just before serving if prepping ahead.
