Description
Delicious Teriyaki Chicken Wrap Recipe for Quick Meals
Ingredients
- Boneless, skinless chicken breast
- Teriyaki sauce (store-bought or homemade using soy sauce, honey, ginger, and garlic)
- Flour tortillas (or whole grain or spinach wraps)
- Bell peppers
- Cucumbers
- Carrots
- Lettuce or spinach
Instructions
- Start by cutting the chicken breast into thin strips.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of oil. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken strips. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
- Pour your teriyaki sauce over the cooked chicken. Stir well to coat the chicken evenly. Let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- While the chicken is simmering, take your wrap and lay it flat on a clean surface. If you prefer, you can warm the wrap in a skillet for a few seconds on each side to make it more pliable.
- Layer your fresh vegetables and greens over the wrap. Start with lettuce, then add bell peppers, cucumbers, and carrots for a colorful and crunchy filling.
- Once the chicken is ready, place a generous portion in the center of the wrap. Be careful not to overfill, as it can make wrapping difficult.
- Fold in the sides of the wrap, then roll it tightly from the bottom up. Make sure it’s secure, so everything stays inside.
- Cut the wrap in half diagonally for an appealing presentation and enjoy your Teriyaki Chicken Wrap!
