Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Drain any excess fat from the skillet. Stir in the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, ginger, and scallions. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the flavors are combined.
- Steam the bao buns according to package instructions, usually about 10 minutes.
- Carefully open the buns and spoon the tender beef filling evenly into each bun.
- Serve the bao buns immediately, garnished with additional scallions if desired.
