- 15 oz pumpkin puree
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). If using a store-bought crust, thaw slightly and fit into a 9-inch pie dish. Crimp the edges and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, salt, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes. Then reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for 35–40 minutes, or until a knife inserted 1 inch from the center comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack for at least 2 hours to allow the custard to fully set.
- Slice and serve with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon, if desired.
