Ingredients
- 2 medium to large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into wedges
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup marshmallow creme
- Flaky sea salt for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place sweet potato wedges in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle with cinnamon and kosher salt. Toss to coat evenly.
- Spread seasoned wedges in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes. Toss the wedges with a spatula to turn them.
- Continue baking for another 5-10 minutes until mostly cooked and starting to brown.
- Turn on the broiler and broil for 3-4 minutes, watching closely, until crisp and golden.
- Remove from oven and let wedges cool for 5 minutes.
- To make the dipping sauce, whisk together heavy cream, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a small bowl until sugar dissolves.
- Add marshmallow creme and beat until fully combined and smooth.
- Serve warm wedges sprinkled with flaky sea salt, alongside the cinnamon marshmallow dipping sauce.
