Delicious Strawberry Peach Crisp Recipe for Summer Delight

- 4 cups sliced strawberries
- 4 cups sliced peaches
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine about 4 cups of sliced strawberries and 4 cups of sliced peaches. Add 1/4 cup of brown sugar and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Toss gently until the fruit is well coated, then set aside.
- In another bowl, mix together 1 cup of rolled oats, 1 cup of flour, 1/2 cup of brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Add 1/2 cup of melted unsalted butter and mix until crumbly.
- Pour the fruit mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle the oat topping generously over the fruit.
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.
- Once baked, allow the crisp to cool for about 10-15 minutes before serving. Serve warm, optionally topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
