Flaky, golden puff pastry envelopes a rich cream cheese filling and sweet strawberry slices.

- 1 package puff pastry sheets, thawed
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (for dusting)
- 2 tablespoons melted chocolate (for drizzle)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unfold puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface and cut each into 4 squares.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Toss sliced strawberries with a little extra sugar to bring out juices.
- Spoon cream cheese mixture onto the center of each square. Add sliced strawberries on top.
- Fold pastry over into a triangle and press edges with a fork to seal.
- Brush each turnover with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes or until puffed and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes, then dust with powdered sugar and drizzle melted chocolate on top.
