Description
A delicious dish combining crispy cauliflower florets with a sweet and savory honey garlic glaze, perfect for any family gathering.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (or a Halal alternative)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil (optional for extra flavor)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, salt, and pepper until well coated.
- Spread the cauliflower in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden and tender.
- While the cauliflower is roasting, prepare the honey garlic sauce by combining honey, soy sauce, garlic, and sesame oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir and cook for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Remove the roasted cauliflower from the oven and drizzle the honey garlic sauce over it. Toss gently to coat every piece.
- Return the coated cauliflower to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes.
- Once done, sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
