  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cups green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil, divided
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • ½ tsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp honey or brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Start by heating 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes to the hot oil. Stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Incorporate the ground turkey into the pan, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook for 4–5 minutes, stirring frequently until fully cooked.
  4. Pour in another tablespoon of sesame oil onto the empty side of the pan, then toss in the trimmed green beans. Stir-fry for about 3–4 minutes.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sriracha, and honey. Stir everything together to coat all the ingredients evenly.
  6. Continue cooking for another 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  7. Give your dish a taste and adjust the salt or spice level to your liking. Remove from heat and garnish as desired.
