Description

These decadent S’mores Cookie Bars combine the classic flavors of graham crackers, melted chocolate, and gooey marshmallow fluff into a soft, chewy bar.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup graham crackers, finely crushed
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 5 standard Hershey bars, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups marshmallow fluff

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, beat the softened butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract thoroughly.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, crushed graham crackers, salt, and baking soda.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently.
  7. Fold in the chopped Hershey bars and marshmallow fluff carefully.
  8. Spread the dough into the prepared pan and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
  9. Allow the bars to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then lift them out using the parchment paper and let cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
