- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- Salt, pepper, garlic powder (to season)
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
- Optional: pickles, diced onions, burger sauce for serving
Instructions
- Preheat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
- Lay a tortilla flat and press a small handful of ground beef onto one half to form a thin layer.
- Season the meat-heavy side generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Cook the tortilla meat-side down on the hot surface for 2–3 minutes until browned.
- Flip the tortilla, sprinkle cheese over the beef, then fold the tortilla in half.
- Cook for another 1–2 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- Slice into wedges and serve with pickles, diced onions, and burger sauce.
