Ingredients

  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder (to season)
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
  • Optional: pickles, diced onions, burger sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  2. Lay a tortilla flat and press a small handful of ground beef onto one half to form a thin layer.
  3. Season the meat-heavy side generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Cook the tortilla meat-side down on the hot surface for 2–3 minutes until browned.
  5. Flip the tortilla, sprinkle cheese over the beef, then fold the tortilla in half.
  6. Cook for another 1–2 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  7. Slice into wedges and serve with pickles, diced onions, and burger sauce.
